The 2018-2019 club season has ended and we have scheduled our summer volleyball clinics. Please click here for more information about the clinics.
Unfortunately, we lost all the updates that we posted throughout the season due to technical difficulties (server issues!).
Nevertheless, despite these technical problems, Vipers had a GREAT season! These ladies had so many successes week in and week out, but we do not base our success solely on wins and losses. Rather, we stress player development, and we are so proud of how much our players have learned and improved through the December 2018-May 2019 time frame.
Our volleyball family this year had some wonderful experiences in addition to developing their volleyball skills. It was a thrill to watch the Warriors basketball genius Stephen Curry run through his post-practice routine, and to meet and converse with both him and Coach Steve Kerr. We learned that hard work and selfless teamwork contributes to the success of the Warriors.
The Vipers also gave back to the community by volunteering at the Alameda Food Bank and recognized that we all can make a positive difference.
Highlights of the 2019 volleyball season:
#1 in the 16's Gold Rush District (and became ‘frenemies’ with our competitors)
*Won their flight in the Reno Far Western tournament.
*Took Gold Division 3rd place (out of 126 total 15/16's teams)
We are so proud of our Viper ladies for their work ethics and teamwork. We look forward to seeing everyone on the volleyball courts!
For the 2019 Vipers Volleyball Season, we are forming a 16U Hybrid team/volleyball family. We are looking for 10-12 passionate, dedicated team players to compete in the 2019 NCVA Premier League and special tournaments (Power & Premier Teams).

At the NCVA Premier League Regional Championships Vipers played in the exciting NCVA Gold Championship match with a large crowd cheering them on. They battled hard and walked away with 2nd place in the Gold Division (out of 141 teams). It has been an amazing season and we are very proud of our 15 and 16 year old Viper ladies for how hard they work and how much they have improved. We look forward to seeing everyone on the volleyball courts, maybe at one of our clinics. Contact us if you are interested.
Vipers also participated in the 3 day Far Western tournament in Reno and faced some stiff competition. They persevered and came away with a 7-2 record with the only losses against 2 very tall and skilled teams.
We hope everyone is enjoying the delightful Spring weather- it's definitely wonderful to watch the flowers bloom and plants thrive. Similarly, our Vipers 15/16 team is doing well in the Premier League Gold Rush district (http://results.tm2sign.com/event/177/team/38323). We have also participated in non-league tournaments (placed 1st in non-league #2 in February), Golden State Classic (placed first in Lily of the Valley division), and we are looking forward to playing in Reno's Far Western tournament and the Regional Finals.
